Terms & Conditions
Last updated 14 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the C-MORE website, the C-MORE platform, ALMA and any related services, applications and communications provided by The C-MORE Company ("C-MORE", "we", "us" or "our") (together, the "Services"). They form a legally binding agreement between C-MORE and the person or organisation that accesses or uses the Services ("you" or "your").
Please read these Terms carefully and in full before using the Services. By creating an account, by selecting "Accept all" in our consent notice, by continuing to browse the website after being shown these Terms, or by otherwise accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, by our Cookie Policy set out in Part 2 below, and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity, in which case "you" refers to that entity. If you do not have such authority, or if the entity does not agree to these Terms, you must not accept them and must not use the Services.
1. Who we are
The Services are operated by The C-MORE Company, a company registered under number [company registration number], whose registered office is at [registered address]. Our VAT number is [VAT number]. You can contact us at [general contact email] or by post at the address above.
2. Definitions
In these Terms the following words have the following meanings:
- "Account" means the account you create to access the C-MORE platform, including any user accounts created under it for your personnel.
- "ALMA" means the assistant made available within the Services that reads documents you provide, drafts answers, flags gaps and suggests actions.
- "Customer Data" means all documents, information, answers, comments and other content that you or your users upload to, enter into or generate through the Services, including content drafted by ALMA from your documents.
- "Founding Member" means a customer who has secured a place in the early-access programme described in section 4.
- "Connected Party" means any client, buyer, supplier, subcontractor or other organisation with which you choose to share Customer Data through the Services.
- "Subscription" means the plan you select at checkout, monthly or annual, and the fees that apply to it.
3. Eligibility and accounts
The Services are intended for businesses and for individuals acting for the purposes of their trade, business, craft or profession. You must be at least 18 years old to create an Account. You must not use the Services as a consumer.
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when you create an Account, and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential, for all activity that takes place under your Account, and for the acts and omissions of every user you invite. You must notify us without delay at [security contact email] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your Account or any other breach of security.
We may refuse to open an Account, or suspend or close one, if we reasonably believe that the information provided is false or misleading, or that the Account is being used in breach of these Terms.
4. Early access and founding membership
The Services are currently offered through an early-access programme limited to a set number of Founding Members. Securing a founding place reserves your access to the Services when they open and the founding terms shown to you at checkout.
During early access, parts of the Services may not yet be available, may be offered in preview, or may change. Previews are provided for evaluation and feedback, may contain errors, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. We will tell you before the Services open to Founding Members, by the means you chose when you signed up.
Founding terms apply for as long as your Subscription remains active and uninterrupted. If your Subscription ends, the founding terms end with it and are not restored on a later subscription.
5. Subscriptions, fees and payment
Access to the Services requires a paid Subscription. The fees, billing period and currency for your Subscription are those shown at checkout and confirmed in your order. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes, which you must pay in addition.
You may pay by card, by SEPA direct debit, by digital wallet or, for annual Subscriptions, against an invoice. By providing payment details you authorise us and our payment providers to charge the fees when they fall due. Invoices are payable within [payment term] days of their date.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period for a further period of the same length, unless you cancel before the renewal date through your Account settings or by contacting us. We will remind you of an annual renewal at least [notice period] days before it takes place.
If any amount is not paid when due, we may, after giving you notice and a reasonable opportunity to pay, suspend access to the Services until payment is received. Except where required by law or stated otherwise in these Terms, fees already paid are not refundable.
We may change our fees with effect from your next renewal by giving you at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel your Subscription before it takes effect.
6. Your data and documents
As between you and us, you own all Customer Data. You grant C-MORE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, analyse and display Customer Data solely to the extent necessary to provide, secure, support and improve the Services for you, and as otherwise instructed by you through the Services.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, lawfulness and reliability of Customer Data, for the factual content of any questionnaire, report or profile relating to your organisation, and for having all rights, consents and permissions needed to upload Customer Data and to share it with Connected Parties. C-MORE does not verify, audit or independently validate Customer Data.
We will keep Customer Data confidential and will not access it except as necessary to provide the Services, to prevent or address technical, security or service problems, at your request in connection with a support matter, or where required by law.
You can export Customer Data at any time while your Subscription is active. After your Subscription ends, we will keep Customer Data for [retention period] days so that you can export it, after which we will delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer.
7. ALMA and automated drafting
ALMA reads the documents you provide and drafts answers, summaries, scores, red flags and suggested actions. Each draft shows the passage it was read from so that you can check it. Drafts are produced automatically, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are proposals only.
You must review every answer drafted by ALMA before you approve it, submit it or share it with a Connected Party. Once you approve, submit or share an answer, you adopt it as your own and you are responsible for it as if you had written it yourself.
Scores, red flags, best practices and action plans calculated by the Services are an indication for you and your Connected Parties. They are not a certification, audit, assurance engagement or legal, regulatory, environmental, tax or other professional advice, and must not be relied on as such. You should obtain independent professional advice before making decisions that depend on them.
We do not use Customer Data to train artificial intelligence models made available to other customers, unless you have given your separate and explicit agreement.
8. Sharing with clients and suppliers
The Services allow you to share parts of your company profile, documents, questionnaires and results with Connected Parties, and to receive requests and information from them. Sharing takes place only when you accept a request or choose to share, and you can stop sharing at any time through the Services.
When you share Customer Data with a Connected Party, that Connected Party may view and use it under its own terms and responsibility. C-MORE is not responsible for how a Connected Party uses information you have chosen to share with it, and any relationship between you and a Connected Party is solely between you and that Connected Party.
9. Acceptable use
You must use the Services only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- upload, share or store any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading or that you do not have the right to use;
- upload forged, altered or expired documents and present them as valid, or misrepresent your organisation, its certifications or its compliance;
- access or attempt to access any Account, system or data that you are not authorised to access, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Services;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, or introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works of the Services, except to the extent the law expressly permits;
- use automated means to access or extract data from the Services, except through interfaces we provide for that purpose;
- resell, sublicense or otherwise make the Services available to any third party other than your authorised users.
We may remove content or suspend access where we reasonably believe that these rules have been breached, and will tell you where we lawfully can.
10. Intellectual property
The Services, including the software, ALMA, the scoring model, the structure of questionnaires and reports, the design, text, graphics and logos, and all related intellectual property rights, are and remain the property of C-MORE or its licensors. Subject to these Terms and to payment of the fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your Subscription for your internal business purposes.
If you send us suggestions, ideas or feedback about the Services, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
11. Confidentiality
Each party will keep confidential all non-public information of the other party that it receives in connection with the Services and that is marked as confidential or would reasonably be understood to be confidential, will use it only to perform or receive the Services, and will not disclose it except to its employees, contractors and advisers who need to know it and are bound by equivalent obligations, or where required by law.
12. Data protection
Each party will comply with the data protection law that applies to it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data as a controller. Where we process personal data contained in Customer Data on your behalf, we do so as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms and is available at [link to data processing agreement].
13. Availability and support
We will use reasonable efforts to keep the Services available and to fix problems promptly, but we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We may carry out planned maintenance, which we will try to schedule outside normal business hours and announce in advance where it is likely to affect you.
Support is available by email at [support contact email] during [support hours]. We may change, add or remove features of the Services from time to time, provided that we do not materially reduce the core functionality of your Subscription during its current term.
14. Warranties and disclaimers
We warrant that we will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", and we exclude all other warranties, conditions and representations, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that the Services or any result produced by them will meet your requirements or the requirements of any client, buyer, regulator or certification body, or that use of the Services will ensure compliance with any law, regulation or standard.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to the paragraph above, neither party will be liable to the other, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings, for any loss or corruption of data that could have been avoided by keeping reasonable back-ups, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
Subject to the paragraphs above, each party's total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms in any period of 12 months is limited to the total fees paid and payable by you for the Services in that period.
16. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify C-MORE against any claim brought by a third party, including a Connected Party or a regulator, arising from Customer Data, from your breach of section 9, or from your use of the Services in breach of these Terms or of the law, and against any reasonable costs and losses resulting from such a claim.
17. Term, suspension and termination
These Terms apply from the moment you first access the Services and continue for as long as you use them or hold an Account. Your Subscription continues for its billing period and renews as described in section 5 until cancelled.
Either party may terminate these Terms by written notice if the other party commits a material breach that is not remedied within 30 days of being notified of it, or becomes insolvent or ceases to trade. We may also suspend or terminate your access immediately if required by law, or if your use of the Services poses a security risk to us or to other customers.
On termination, your right to use the Services ends, and section 6 applies to the export and deletion of Customer Data. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections 6, 10, 11, 15, 16, 19 and 20, will survive.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change that materially affects your rights or obligations, by email or through the Services, and the new Terms will apply from the start of your next billing period after that notice. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel your Subscription before it takes effect. Other changes take effect when we publish them. The date at the top of these Terms shows when they were last updated.
19. General
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer ours to a company in our group or to a purchaser of all or part of our business, provided that your rights are not reduced.
Neither party will be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. A failure or delay in exercising any right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the documents referred to in them, form the entire agreement between the parties about their subject matter and supersede any prior agreement or understanding.
Notices under these Terms must be in writing and sent to the email address associated with your Account or, for C-MORE, to [legal contact email].
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, including non-contractual disputes or claims, are governed by the law of [governing law]. The courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under the law of the country in which you are established.
Before starting any proceedings, each party will first try in good faith to resolve the dispute through discussion between senior representatives for a period of at least 30 days.
21. Contact
If you have any question about these Terms, please contact us at [legal contact email], or write to The C-MORE Company, [registered address].
Cookie Policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how The C-MORE Company ("C-MORE", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use the C-MORE website, the C-MORE platform and any related services, applications and communications that link to this policy (together, the "Services"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, the choices available to you, and how you can exercise those choices.
Please read this Cookie Policy carefully and in full. It should be read together with the Terms & Conditions set out in Part 1 above and with our Privacy Policy, which describe the terms on which the Services are provided and, in more detail, how we process personal data. Where this Cookie Policy uses a term defined in those documents, that term has the same meaning here unless stated otherwise. If there is any conflict between this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy as regards the use of cookies, this Cookie Policy prevails.
By selecting "Accept all" in the cookie notice, you consent to the placement and use of all the cookies and similar technologies described in this policy. By selecting "No cookies", you refuse all cookies, including those that are strictly necessary for parts of the Services to work, with the consequences described in section 7. You may change your choice at any time, as explained in section 8.
1. Who we are
The Services are operated by The C-MORE Company, a company registered under number [company registration number], whose registered office is at [registered address]. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable data protection law (together, "Data Protection Law"), C-MORE is the controller of the personal data collected through the cookies and similar technologies described in this policy, except where we state otherwise.
If you have any question about this Cookie Policy or about how we use cookies, you can contact us at [privacy contact email] or by post at the address above, marked for the attention of our Data Protection Officer.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer, tablet, phone or other device when you visit it. Cookies allow a website to recognise your device on later requests, to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language or whether you are signed in, and to collect information about how the website is used. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called "first-party cookies". Cookies set by a different domain are called "third-party cookies".
Cookies may be "session cookies", which are deleted automatically when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies", which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
In this policy we use the word "cookies" to include similar technologies that store or read information on your device, such as local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. These technologies work in a similar way to cookies and are subject to the same choices.
3. The law that applies to cookies
The use of cookies is governed by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, as implemented in each Member State of the European Union, by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 in the United Kingdom, and by Data Protection Law where cookies are used to process personal data.
Under these rules, we may store or read information on your device without your consent only where this is strictly necessary to provide a service that you have explicitly requested. For all other cookies we must obtain your prior consent, which must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, and which you may withdraw at any time as easily as you gave it.
Where cookies process personal data, our legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for analytics cookies, and, for strictly necessary cookies, our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in providing Services that are secure and work as you would expect, or the performance of our contract with you under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where you hold a C-MORE account.
4. The cookies we use
We use two categories of cookies. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, we do not use cookies to build profiles of you across other websites, and we do not sell or rent any information collected through cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are essential for the Services to work and for you to move around them and use their features securely. Without them, services you have asked for, such as signing in to your account, cannot be provided. They include:
- cm_session, which keeps you signed in as you move between pages of the C-MORE platform. It is a session cookie and is deleted when you close your browser.
- cm_csrf, which protects the forms you submit against cross-site request forgery, by proving that a request was sent from the Services and not from another website acting on your behalf. It is a session cookie.
- cm_consent, which records the choice you make in our cookie notice, so that we respect it and do not ask you again on every visit. It lasts for 12 months.
- cm_lang, which remembers the language you have selected for the Services. It lasts for 12 months.
Analytics cookies. With your consent, these cookies collect information about how visitors use the Services, such as which pages are visited most often, how visitors arrive at a page, how long they stay and whether they encounter errors. We use this information only in aggregate, to understand which parts of the Services are useful and to improve them. They include:
- cm_analytics_id, which distinguishes one visitor from another by means of a randomly generated identifier, without identifying you by name. It lasts for 13 months.
- cm_analytics_visit, which groups together the pages viewed during a single visit. It lasts for 30 minutes from your last activity.
Analytics cookies are placed only if you select "Accept all". They are never placed if you select "No cookies".
5. Information collected through cookies
Depending on the cookies you accept, the information collected may include: the identifier stored in the cookie; your IP address, which we truncate before storing so that it cannot be used to identify you; the type and version of your browser and operating system; the pages you visit and the links you follow on the Services; the date, time and duration of your visit; the website or page that referred you; and technical information about errors and the performance of the Services.
We do not use cookies to collect the content of the documents you upload to the Services, the answers you give in questionnaires, or any special category of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR.
6. Third parties and international transfers
All the cookies described in this policy are first-party cookies set by C-MORE. Where we use service providers to host the Services or to process analytics information on our behalf, they act as our processors under written agreements that meet the requirements of Article 28 GDPR, may use the information only on our instructions, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Where information collected through cookies is transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom that has not been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, we put in place appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with any supplementary measures required. You may request a copy of these safeguards using the contact details in section 1.
7. Your choices in the cookie notice
When you first visit the Services, we show a cookie notice that asks for your choice before any cookie other than those needed to display the notice itself is placed on your device. You may choose:
- "Accept all": you consent to all the cookies described in this policy, strictly necessary and analytics.
- "No cookies": you refuse all cookies, including strictly necessary ones. You will still be able to read the public pages of the website. However, because strictly necessary cookies are required to sign in and to submit forms securely, you will not be able to create an account, sign in or use the C-MORE platform while this choice is in effect. Because we cannot store your choice without a cookie, it applies only for your current visit, and we will ask you again the next time you visit.
Refusing cookies has no consequence other than those described above. In particular, it does not affect the price, availability or quality of any part of the Services that can be provided without cookies.
8. Changing your mind
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting "Cookies" in the footer of the website, which reopens this policy and the choices described in section 7. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out on the basis of your consent before you withdrew it.
When you withdraw consent to analytics cookies, we stop placing them and stop collecting information through them. Analytics cookies already on your device will be deleted the next time you visit, or you can delete them yourself as described in section 9.
9. Managing cookies in your browser
Most web browsers allow you to see which cookies are stored on your device, to delete them individually or all at once, and to block cookies from particular websites or from all websites. Instructions are usually found in the "Settings", "Preferences" or "Help" menu of your browser.
If you block or delete strictly necessary cookies through your browser, parts of the Services will not work, as described in section 7. If you delete the cm_consent cookie, we will ask for your choice again on your next visit. Settings in your browser apply only to that browser on that device: if you use several browsers or devices, you will need to set your preferences in each of them.
10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal. Where we receive a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies for that browser. There is no common standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, and we do not currently respond to them separately; your choice in our cookie notice applies instead.
11. How long we keep information
Each cookie remains on your device for the period stated in section 4, unless you delete it sooner. Information collected through analytics cookies is kept in identifiable form for no longer than 14 months from collection, after which it is deleted or aggregated so that it no longer relates to an identifiable device. Records of your cookie choices are kept for as long as necessary to demonstrate that we obtained valid consent, and for no longer than three years after the choice was made.
12. Your rights
Where cookies are used to process your personal data, you have the following rights under Data Protection Law, subject to the conditions and exceptions it sets out:
- the right of access, to obtain confirmation of whether we process personal data about you and a copy of it;
- the right to rectification, to have inaccurate personal data corrected;
- the right to erasure, to have personal data deleted in certain circumstances;
- the right to restriction of processing, to have the processing of personal data limited in certain circumstances;
- the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- the right to data portability, to receive personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time, as described in section 8.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, which may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. We may need to ask you for information to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, or, in the United Kingdom, with the Information Commissioner's Office. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
13. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and their representatives and are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly place cookies on the devices of children or collect information about them through cookies.
14. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we introduce new cookies, change the purposes for which we use them, or when the law changes. The date at the top of this policy shows when it was last updated. Where a change materially affects the cookies we use or the way we use them, we will ask for your choice again through the cookie notice before any new cookie that requires consent is placed.
15. Contact
If you have any question, comment or request about this Cookie Policy or our use of cookies, please contact our Data Protection Officer at [privacy contact email], or write to The C-MORE Company, [registered address].
End of the Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.
